Most LMS "support" in 2026 is a portal owned by a private-equity roll-up. You file a ticket, a first-line agent asks you to clear your cache, and four days later someone who has never seen a Moodle database suggests you upgrade to a higher tier. We think that model deserves to lose.

The Tennessee LMS landscape, briefly
Public higher ed here largely standardized on D2L Brightspace — branded "eLearn" across the TBR community colleges and colleges of applied technology. That matters if you're a training vendor selling into those schools, or an instructor leaving one and taking course content with you: we migrate into and out of everything. Brightspace, Blackboard, Canvas, MoodleCloud, self-hosted Moodle — every direction is on the table, including out of Moodle entirely if that's honestly the right call for you.
One deadline worth knowing: Moodle 4.1 and 4.4 both hit security end-of-life on December 8, 2025. If your site is still on either branch, it has been unpatched for months. Moodle 4.5 LTS is supported through October 2027, which makes it the sane upgrade target for most organizations; 5.0 reaches end of support in October 2026, so we generally don't recommend it as a place to land.
FERPA, for Tennessee schools: if your program receives federal funds — and most accredited private schools and umbrella programs touch them somewhere — student education records in your LMS are covered. That includes grades, submissions, and activity logs. Will you actually meet with us in person?

Can you move us off Brightspace (eLearn) into Moodle — or the other way?
Both directions. We regularly move course content and user records between Brightspace, Blackboard, Canvas, MoodleCloud, and self-hosted Moodle. Grade history and completion records come along, verified row by row. If leaving Moodle is genuinely the better fit for your program, we'll say so and help you do it.
Our courses say "complete" but the LMS shows "incomplete." Can you fix that?
Almost certainly — it's the most common SCORM fault there is, and it's usually a status-mapping or suspend-data problem rather than anything wrong with your content. Send us one package for a free diagnosis; repairs are $350 flat, verified in SCORM Cloud before we hand it back.
